This month we are featuring Certified Organic wines from Girasole Vineyards. The grapes are estate grown and hand picked at this  family owned vineyard. We hope you enjoy this months selections from Redwood Valley located in the Mendocino appellation of Northern California .


Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

A lively, fruit forward wine with plum and pomegranate aromas. On the palate it is medium bodied and well balanced with herb and spice flavors complementing the fruit. A touch of oak adds structure and complexity, and 10% Sangiovese contributes bright cherry fruit and spice.

Chardonnay 2015

Bright golden straw in color, with aromas of fresh sliced apple and subtle fragrances of banana and beeswax. Ripe apple flavors are consistent throughout, with added notes of baked Bartlett pear and lemon peel on the palate.

Hybrid Red 2014

Blend of 4 varieties. The Merlot and Cabernet provide a firm tannic structure and subtle herbal notes. Petite Sirah adds black cherry notes and a rich mouthfeel. Finally, Sangiovese lifts the aroma and contributes lively floral characteristics. A touch of oak adds warm cedar and vanilla flavors and integrates the wine.
