This month we are featuring wines from two spectacular wine regions in France. Alsace and Provence. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do. Cheers!

Château Val Joanis Cuvée les Griottes 2016

A traditional blend of Syrah and Grenache, it is elegant and powerful, dark purple in color. Aromas of mixed berries, dried plums and stewed fruits with flavors of red fruits and a hint of spice and smoke on a long, generous finish.

Food Pairings

  • Grilled Tuna/Eggplant
  • Lamb Roast

Lucien Albrecht Cuvée Romanus Pinot Gris 2016

Yellow gold color with other highlights. As its name indicates in French, Pinot Gris is a gray varietal with white fruit showing smokiness, developing opulence and distinctive characteristics. The nose is complex and reveals aromas of apricot, hazelnut and toast. The palate is supple and gourmand with a great balance on yellow fruit notes.

Food Pairings

  • Roast Pork
  • Spicy Asian foods

Château Val Joanis Rouge Tradition 2015

A blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache, deep garnet-red. Highly expressive, open nose blending jammy red fruits, spice and balsamic notes. The palate is powerful and shows seductive volume, mellowness and persistency. A wonderful Mediterranean wine with good breed and deft aging.
